Hi! I’m a mom, adventurer, lifter of heavy things — and a firm believer that Bollywood beats make every workout better.
I live in Seattle with my husband and our almost-2-year-old son. After over a decade in tech, I became a certified personal trainer because fitness has been my anchor through life’s biggest transitions — including motherhood.

Over the past 12 years, I’ve explored all kinds of movement: running, strength training, CrossFit, yoga, hiking, mountain climbing, and more. My garage gym is now my favorite room in the house. I’ve run half marathons, climbed Mt. Rainier and Mt. Baker, stayed active during pregnancy, and learned how to move in ways that heal and energize.

My philosophy is that fitness should fit your life, not take it over.

About GetFitMindBody
After motherhood and a corporate career burnout, I found myself mentally drained, and far from the person I wanted to be. Movement became my medicine. I rebuilt my routines — slowly, consistently — and I saw firsthand how strengthening the mind naturally led to strengthening the body.

I created GetFitMindBody for people like me — who want to feel strong again, who don’t have hours to spend in the gym, who want to enjoy cultural foods without guilt, and who need a plan that works with their life, not against it.

This isn't about bouncing back. It's about moving forward — with confidence, intention, and joy.
Our Guiding Principles

-
Mental health comes first — when the mind is strong, the body thrives.
-
Fitness should fit into your life, not take over it — we focus on realistic, flexible solutions that work with your schedule.
-
Sustainability over perfection — we build habits designed to last, avoiding fads or extremes.
-
Cultural connection matters — we celebrate South Asian identities, foods, and joys, making space for traditions and personal expression.
-
Joy and fun are essential — we believe movement should spark motivation, playfulness, and celebration, not punishment or guilt.
-
Every body deserves strength, confidence, and energy — no matter where you start or how busy you are.
